One system.The whole house.
ABB i bus KNX actuators in the board and Busch-Jaeger switches and displays on the wall. Lights, blinds and heat talk together on one cable, in the apartment, the house or the office.
In a standard install the current runs through the switch. In KNX the button sends a message and the actuator in the board does the rest.

The actuators do the work. In the board.
Lights, blinds and heat are wired to actuators in the board and the switches on the wall only send messages over the KNX cable. When the behaviour needs to change it is reprogrammed, not rewired.
Switch actuators
Four, eight or more outputs for lights and sockets.
Shutter actuators
Control blinds and screens, up, down and position.
Dimmers
Dim lights, including with 1 to 10 V control.
Power supply and couplers
A power supply, line couplers and an IP coupler hold the system together.

Switches and displays. In the same style.
Busch-Jaeger builds KNX push button sensors, thermostats and touch displays in the same frame series as the ordinary switches. Everything on the wall matches, whether it turns on a light or controls the whole house.
Touch displays
An overview of lights, heat and blinds in every room.
Push button sensors
Each button can turn on a light, set a scene or draw the blinds.

Every radiator gets its own valve. Every room its own temperature.
Valves on radiators and underfloor heating manifolds are wired to heating actuators in the board. A thermostat in each room gives the word and the system opens and closes, so the heat goes where it is needed.
Radiator valves
Electric valve actuators and adapters for common radiator valve types.
Heating actuators
Six or twelve channels in the board, one for each valve.
From the board and off the wall.

ABB and Busch-Jaeger. One company.
Busch-Jaeger is part of ABB. The KNX equipment goes into the same boards and the same frame series as their other equipment.
