Rafport Golf Tournament
The Rafport Golf Tournament took place in Þorlákshöfn on Friday 11 September. Shotgun start, a food truck on the course and the prize-giving at Black Sand Hotel. Here are the results.
On Friday 11 September we held the Rafport Golf Tournament at the golf course in Þorlákshöfn. The group met at Rafport in Auðbrekka around midday and the coach set off at 12:00, while others drove themselves and came straight to the clubhouse at 13:00.
At 14:00 there was a simultaneous start on all tees and 18 holes were played. A food truck made its way around the course all the way, so nobody had to go hungry or thirsty between tees.
After play we moved over to Black Sand Hotel, where dinner and drinks were served and the prizes were awarded. The coach then took those heading home back into town that evening.
