Rafport takes on the Loxone agency in Iceland
Rafport is now the agent and service partner for Loxone in Iceland. Two members of staff travelled to Austria for three weeks of training with Loxone.

Rafport is now the agent and service partner for Loxone in Iceland. Loxone is an Austrian company offering a complete solution for smart homes and buildings, where lighting, shading, heating and ventilation, audio systems, access control and security systems all work together in one integrated system.
Through this partnership, Rafport can now offer Icelandic customers certified consultancy, design, installation and service for Loxone solutions, from individual homes up to larger commercial premises.
Two staff members in training in Austria
To build up in-depth knowledge of the system, we sent two members of staff to Loxone's headquarters in Kollerschlag, Austria: Arnar, sales manager, and Bragi attended three weeks of training with Loxone.
Loxone's headquarters are a showcase of the technology in action in their own right. The building itself is a fully automated smart building where everything from hotel rooms to meeting spaces is run by Loxone, so participants experience the system in a real environment while they study.
During the training they learn to plan, wire, program and troubleshoot Loxone systems. The course covers lighting control and scenes, automated shading, air quality and heating control, multi-room audio, access control with contactless keys and door intercoms, as well as security and alarm systems, all in detail. The programme concluded with a certification exam confirming their competence as Loxone partners.
What this means for customers
Once the training is complete, Rafport will have certified Loxone specialists in Iceland, with access to full support from the manufacturer. That means customers can have smart home and building solutions designed, installed and serviced locally, without relying on providers abroad.
We look forward to introducing the Loxone solutions to the Icelandic market in more detail over the coming weeks and months.
